Default Installing a trigger bar spring for a Kahr k9??

So I was shooting my K9 and I felt something break. I tried the trigger and it was spongy, unable to reset.

I took it apart and saw that the trigger bar spring was broken and must have fallen out of the gun.

I ordered a new one but can't quite figure out the proper way to install it.

Can anyone steer me in the right direction on this? It seems simple but when I put it in and try the trigger, it's spongy.

I'm matching it up with the schematic from Kahr... no dice.

I had to replace a broken belt on my old Cadillac a few years ago. Right when I cranked it up, my uncle says to me "did you find out why the belt broke?" To which I replied "huh?" Then he says, "well it broke for a reason..." SNAP!!! Broken belt. Again. Tensioner pulley was cracked and wobbling.

Are you sure everything else is in good working order? Unless you've put a lot of rounds down range, or have otherwise worn or damaged that spring, there's likely a reason it broke.

The gun is pretty old. Maybe 15 years old? I was shooting some hot rounds... but nothing the Kahr can't handle.

Nothing too extreme.

Any takers?

If anyone can just take off the right grip on their Kahr k9, take a pic, and share it... that would be awesome.
