I want the military to start issuing Colt Anacondas. That way nobody can come back and whine that the cartridge wasn't powerful enough, the caliber didn't start with a "4", or it wasn't a "real man's gun". I expect that to last a day, if that long, and then everyone can go back to using their Berettas and quit whining about it.
If everyone likes the .44 Magnum and it becomes general issue, then all the rest of the world could legitimately refer to us as cowboys.
Perhaps the military could spend some of our money teaching pistol marksmanship. Just a thought. Probably not worth the effort.
