As soon as I saw .45 I looked for the HK. I love that gun.

I think they are fantastic. Here's the range report - http://www.firearmstalk.com/forums/f15/more-shooting-peanut-gallery-36818/. I had only shot a couple pistols before but I liked the feel of the Storms and from all the reviews I read people liked them very much.

I want the military to start issuing Colt Anacondas. That way nobody can come back and whine that the cartridge wasn't powerful enough, the caliber didn't start with a "4", or it wasn't a "real man's gun". I expect that to last a day, if that long, and then everyone can go back to using their Berettas and quit whining about it.

If everyone likes the .44 Magnum and it becomes general issue, then all the rest of the world could legitimately refer to us as cowboys.

Perhaps the military could spend some of our money teaching pistol marksmanship. Just a thought. Probably not worth the effort.

Given the current administration and its PC climate it would be one of those NERF pistols.

But the 9 mm is to weak for a true combat pistol and the 92FS design cannot be adapted to the .45ACP cartridge

How did you come to the conclusion that the 9mm is to weak for a combat pistol. ? I don't know any armed forces that issue a .45 caliber handgun to all requiring a handgun. If i had to pick probaly the h-k.

2 year old threads tend to stink up the place.
