Default I went into Academy Sports today for a PT-111 and came out with a 24/7c.

I went to Academy Sports today looking for a new PT-111 since I wanted another 9mm and small enough for concealed carry. I have the 745 and like it, but wanted a 9 to to with it. I looked at the 111 and there on the next shelf was a 24/7c compact version. I put them side by side and they were virtually the same size. The "ribber" grip on the 24/7 is indescribable compared to the hard rigged plastic of the 111. As a bonus, it comes with one 12 round mag and one 17 round mag with base extension.

I took it home of course, broke it down and cleaned it. It wasn't full of cosmoline, but had some nice white grease instead. I cleaned it anyway, and loaded up. Darn it's accurate out of the box pulling the smooth trigger as fast as I could since the recoil was nil. There were a bunch of holes pretty close together. I was (am) verry happy! If you haven't' trided a 24/7 you need to!!

My wifey has a 24/7-C as her CCW pistol, she loves it!!

I do suggest getting a few extra mags, that ribber grip makes 'em VERY comfortable to shoot
