The Only Ammo(22) from Remington I will Put in Any of our 22's are the Yellow Jackets. the Vipers, Thunderbolts, and Golden Bullets are just too "dirty," even though we clean after every shoot, and The Wife's Buckmark won't go more then 100 Rds. without a
"Pre-shoot" lubrication. Was a little disappointed this time out in the "Frog Lube," as her Browning had it's first Hiccup well before 100 Rounds. For the "pre shoot" lube we'll stick with the Remington oil....spray Bottle has a Tube on it for Tight spots,...like Frame rails!!

Friday after our Pistol & Shotgun Quals, we hung around Through Lunchtime and blew off around 175 rds of our Federal Auto-Match,..(down to 2-325 Bricks of that plus around 150 Lose) plus 50 Mini-Mags & 50 Winchester Super X Hp's...NO FTF's or FTE's in any of the other 22's(My Mosberg 702, the 22/45, or the 10/22 she shoots That I gave her)....

Stock up on everything you can. Ammo, mags,...I just got Vickers Slings for 4 Guns: the Mossberg 22, the Mossberg SA-20, The Mini-14, and the 10/22....

Any if y'all who don't like the Remington stuff are welcome to send it all to me. I've never had any trouble with it in any of my .22 firearms.

Consider it an act if charity-based service. I would just hate to know you were being made to suffer.

Why,? You wanna Go in on 3250 Rds. of Auto Match with me? $479.99 on AmmoSeek,..it's 10-325 Rd. Bricks. I can tell you I have Shot a Brick & a Half of the 4 Bricks of it I have bought since late June...with no feed issues in any of the 22's...Too Bad you can't find it now for less then $46 when I paid 19 a Box for the 1st 2 and $29 for the next two....
The place selling lots of 10 for $479.99,...comes out to $2 less then they are charging for singles($49.99)....
I was surprised The 1st. 100 T-Bolts caused no Issues,..deep Cleaned all 4 22's that went out with us Friday...

I love all of my Ruger Mk series 22's. But yeah, they're a PITA to maintain. I've got a suggestion for you that will make it a dream by comparison.

Majestic Arms Speed Strip Kit

I'd comment on optics if I had any business doing so.

EDIT: Crap.... it seems I'm WAY behind the curve here.

Yeah, get one of these for sure. Oddly enough the magazine disconnect annoyed me more than field stripping it.

No sweat polygon. the magazine disconnect, front sight and the trigger are the only mods I would consider. I am fine now that I've taken it down a dozen or so times, it loosened up and I know the process. Front sight swap will be for a high viz style. The trigger isn't too bad to it still feels gritty so I'd consider a trigger job or replacement. And i would just like the magazine to DROP when I press the mag release so removing the disconnect would be needed.

Traded my 22/45 lite in for an SR22, never looked back

Best decision I ever made when it comes to handguns. Dumbest takedown ever !
