I havent priced a high point in a while. But I am sure you can still get one for less than $200 brand new. I would not hesitate to own one.

HiPoints are the deawoo's of guns. They will shoot just like deawoo's run but they are not the same quality as a Mercedes no matter what their headlights are shaped like.

Who compared them to a Mercedes ?
He said he wants a cheap gun.. not a luxury model with chrome wheels and TVs.

really depends on what your version of cheap is. your idea of cheap may be totally different from mine or others. now telling us what type of budget you have to work with would go much father in being able to make suggestions as to what might work for you, within the confines of your budget. also what is the intended use? SD/HD? casual plinking? target shooting? CCW? how familiar are you with firearms, in general, and pistols in particular? how much experiance with pistols do you have? these are important questions that need answers before making suggestions on a particular pistol for you.

I was saying that all cars dont ride like a Mercedes. All pistols are not created equal no matter how devout the owners are.

Very true. But, even the most expensive models have their problems.

I personally never had any issues with my hi-point. And most hi-point owners can say the same.

You may say its a "Daewoo" but whenever I go the the range... it takes its place right next to my Cadillac (Kimber). It may not be as pretty or cost the same price range. But it will damn sure put a hole in something when I need it to.
