Default "To Hogue or Not To Hogue" Thats the question !!!

I was playing with the hogue grip on my edc glock 23. And i realized that it may feel alittle better with out it. Now i kno in a crazy situiation when you heart is pumping in that god forbid moment you been dreeding, your hands may get a lil sweaty and that is the + on the hogue grips. But to me lately i feel like it make the grip feel alil fat to me. Now by no means i dont have small hands but to me the grip feels a lil better without 1. So i put it on my 17 cuz thats what my ol lady like to shoot the most.

My ? Is what do you guys choose as an after market grip for your glocks and what do you like most on them. I had talon grips for my 17 and they were great i loved them they just seemed to lose there adhesive qualities after awhile.

I put the hogue on my G21 and I have medium pudgy hands. Just makes it feel like I really have a hold of it. I like it a lot.

I dont have one on my G31 right now, but whenever i had a 23c and a 32 i had hogue on both of them. It felt like my grip was a little more solid and i believe that it contributed to making my grouping tighter

Thays how i feel i grouped quite well with them after my first range trip with them on my carry piece. They even tamed the recoil on the 40sw round. I really dont mind the recoil i actually prefer the recoil when im shooting it let me kno the round i picked and that im firering is gonna get the job done if i need it. I use to have a 357 mag revolver so im not shy to it at all.

Have you looked at the Pachmayar grip sleeve? I had the hogue but the Pachmayar IMO is way better. The grip is a lot tackier than the hogue and more comfortable.

I just put a hogue on my Glock 19 rtf yesterday and I love it so far! The grip that came wit my gun is a rough textured finish, which was fine for range shooting but lacked function in everyday carry. It would bother me when carrying as the texture is rough and would rub against my side. I purchased the hogue at a local gun store in my area for only $10.80 including tax!

I had bought two Hogue grips for my 45 and 380. After seeing them I decided it took away from its aesthetic beauty and gave them away.

Go by a bicycle shop and get an old skinny tire tube from them and cut out what you need to cover as much or as little as needed. Helps on those small ultra lite pistols to give a bit control and they can be staked to give thickness for range time atleast. Cost?? Just a drive by to get in most case's
