Hi point has a great CS from what ive heard. No questions asked, if you have a problem with the gun or mags they will replace it, no matter if your the first owner or fifth owner.

I have a hipoint JCP .40 that had a bad mag. Called hipoint and they sent a new mag after I talked to a tech. 300 rounds later only one fail to fire. Primer was dented so I figured ammo issue. It shoots better than I do.

Hi-Point has entered into a market of the gun world that caters to those who need or want a firearm that will be inexpensive and reliable, team that up with their excellent CS, and they have filled a need that many have, needing SD/HD firearm, but not a lot of money. sure there are much better, but you will have to spend money to get there. yes they are ugly, and yes they are top heavy, but they perform, which is the most important feature of a firearm when it's needed. besides, i don't think a BG is going to be noticing the fact that the gun is ugly! now would i own one, maybe. if i ran across a used one at a really cheap price, probably. but i wouldn't as this point search one out to by new. it would probably just end up in the toolbox of my farm truck.

I dont know of any REAL problems with any High Point guns except for the fact that they are ugly. They do exactly what they were intended to do...go bang!

Just who the hell are you to come in and comment on a HI POINT THREAD telling people to go elsewhere to talk about hi points? This forum is open to all things gun. Who gives a flying rat **** if it's a gun YOU don't like?

Why don't you just take your attitude back to the GLOCK forum, let other members, some of whom are PAYING members, discuss what they want to discuss? Or just STFU.

well i have been on other firearms forums and most are nothing but a bunch of prudish snobs that if you dont' own or shoot what they endorse, they tend to look down their noses at your choice. yes it ugly, so what? are we revering it because it goes bang? well yes in a way. i would rather have an ugly pistol that worked everytime, vs. a good looking one that didn't. that's a no brainer. unreliable, not hardly! a friend of mine tried to abuse and torture one in 9mm, just wasn't possible. it functioned almost perfectly every time. cheaply made? hmmm... they cost less than $200 usually, so yes they are made inexpensively. yes they are similar to the Ford Escort. but Ford sold millions of thsoe cars and they were a decent car for the price and would last a long time if taken care of. no they were not a Mustange or a Lincoln, but they were never intended to be. in accurate, could be maybe you are just inaccurate with any pistol and want to blame the Hi-Point because of it's price? by noting your user name, you must be one of those Glock fanboys?

and before you go flaming on me, i don't even own a Hi-Point! but i have shot a couple. and BTW i happen to own many pistols and none of them are cheap, so i can safely say i am not making this post because i endorse cheap pistols, just don't like people flaming on something when it's not truly justified.

Kmglocks, I am a fan of any gun that I can shoot reliably. I invite you to bring your un-modified glock and I'll bring my Hipoint (do you prefer .40 or 9mm) to a range and we cam shoot each others guns (I hope that doesn't sound too bad). I'll even bring a 1911 or two. I have never had the opportunity to shoot a glock but you will never see me bad mouthing them cuz they're ugly. I only have a couple hundred rounds through my C9 but have had no problems. I did have a problem with the magazine on my JCP which Hipoints had sent to me on 2 days. 500 rounds later I had two fail to fire on Saturday with Remington umc. I call that ammo since the other 98 rounds were flawless.

I own a HiPoint C9 and I trust my life on it. I shot 50 rounds today with no problems. More accurate than a Glock because the barrel and chamber are one piece and don't move. Now granted, i say i trust my life with it because i have shot hundreds of rounds through it an have found that as more rounds go through it, the less and less it has any problems; to the point that the past couple of hundred rounds have gone through it with no problem. This is the time in my gun's life where i can say with near certainty that i can fire my Hi Point with no worries. I also met a poor guy, last time, at the range with a gen 4 .45 caliber glock that had fte every other round and he had exhausted the ammo brands; **** just happens so why not try a hipoint. Buy it shoot it till it wears out, but most likely your wrist will first, then send it back and they send you a new one + a free magazine. I am just happy we have that option, made in the USA.

No, your standards are comming down just like when you have had a few too many at the bar and you wake up at Home with a particular overweight and not so attractive woman.........well that HiPoint would be that woman. Sure she function but it will never be that slim and sexy 1911 that you wanted.
