If you are willing to look at used BHP's try these.

GunBroker.com - Browning Hi Power Both new and used.

^ I got this used BHP on GunBroker for <$500.

OR

Call Sarco 610-250-3960, they don't have a website and ask them what used BHP's they have in stock. (their prices are worth the inconvenience)

Royal Tiger Imports: Used FN Browning Hi Power 9x19 - $449.95

The BHP was also produced in Canada for Allied use, by John Inglis and Company in Toronto. These tend to run cheaper than their Belgium brothers.

The FM BHP was made under FN (Fabrique Nationale) license by Fabricaciones Militares (FM) of Argentina. These can be found occasionally at J&G Sales for ~$350.

Some BHP clones;
Charles Daily HP, FEG parts assembled in US
FEG PJK-9HP, by Fegyver es Gazkeszuelekgyara NV, now FEGARMY Arms factory, Ltd.
Kareen, an Israeli Arms copy built in Bulgaria by Arcus
Pindad, an Indonesia copy

Here's a great source for BHP info;

Thanks Cain Just what I expected that you had good answers on about anything John Mosses Browning related. This gun store has so much business that they are very unwilling to bargain. It really is unbelievable the amount of guns they sell just in the amount of time I am in there. I think it is the largest gun store in Ky, and it in the middle of no-where. Their web site doesn't do them justice. They do keep there used guns list up to date, but not new. On new guns they don't even have most listed. They have one whole isle of AR's top and bottom I didn't count but I would guess 300 or more and seldom any two alike.

I think that is too much for a rather used MK111---I recently picked up a slightly used (mint) MK111 with SFS system factory installed for $675. in the box with extra mags---wonderful pistol, by the way!

I got my Mark III in a trade, which I would value at well south of the price you saw. I've seen a few used BHPs at around $700, but they were in nicer shape than what you mentioned.

BTW, a friend of mine has one of the Argentine clones. It shoots well enough, but I recall the trigger being gritty, and the overall feel wasn't as good. But he didn't pay that much for it.
