Take it from a former owner. Don't clean it. They like it dirty, the dirtier they are the better they shoot. Wish I never traded for the savage 93 17hmr. Which in its self is a good gun.

I own a hi point 45 jhp and love it! Love the lifetime warranty as well. Im currently looking at c9. The 45 breaks down same as the 9 its really not bad once u do it. I stand behind them. Any gun that goes bang is worth the $ . Feeding issues and other stuff can happen to any gun anytime

I haven't had any issues at all, it's just too heavy for me. I replaced it with an lc9 since I carry now.

I wouldn't even think of carrying it, I'd like to see what it can take. I've seen them get beat to hell and back, I'd like my own to torture.
