I don't know if I'm the only one who has had bad luck with them, but I've had terrible luck with all three I've ever shot. I've owned two. and I'm not sure if the feed ramp is made of aluminum or just an extremely mild steel, but the projectile would gouge it after a few hundred rounds and it would be in need of a polish. Both extremely accurate, probably to do with the stationary bbl, but I just gave up on them. Maybe for somebody in need of malfunction clearing drills.

They're heavy. If you run out of ammo you could always throw it at someone and hurt them or it could also double as a boat anchor. But I've heard their carbines are really good.

B.S hi-points do not have slide guides the slide floats free and is held on by what they call a dolls head

All I have to say is be careful, I had one in 9 mm, checked it out at the dealer, looked good, brought it home, shot it once, the next place I went was the hospital for a few stitches because the slide guides broke and the slide came flying off the thing and cut me pretty good. You deff get what u pay for and $150 for any brand new pistol should make you run the other direction, and it deff should make you think your getting a great deal! Just my opinion. Hope yours runs good for ya.

The more i shoot mine the more i love it. I also notice i become more defensive aboit it. Seems ppl hate em. As its crap cuz its cheap well here sonething to thing about mosin nagat rifle $109. Cheap yet 17 countries 10 wars later they work great. H&R pistols under $200 great guns. I rather pay 150 for a 45 than 1000 . I thinks smart shopping.
