The Sig would be nice, but I also like the suggestion of looking at the CZs. The 75b would be a nice full size gun, and if you wanted something smaller, check out the non-polymer version of the 2075 RAMI.

1. I had a P6 and didn't like the single stack mag. I wanted more capacity, although the grip was a bit slimmer, and I liked that.

2. I had a CZ 75B, also had the RAMI for a while. I liked them both a bunch.

3. Everything costs more in freakin' California. Then I have to add 8.75% sales tax and a $25. DROS fee.

4. If I order a pistol online and I can actually get it into CA legally, I then have to pay an FFL $65. for the DROS and his fee. That makes some internet deals not all that good.

5. We've got to get out of this state!

Default My 9 MM

I bought a new Ruger PD95 about 10 yrs ago and it has never let me down but it does have the polymar frame. It cost me $314.00 out the door and came with 2 mags and a dinky lock on the plastic case.

You sound like me, read my posting in the General Handgun Discussion section on the second page of the thread titled 'Another "which gun" thread but hopefully more fun'. By the way we welcome Californians here in rural Oregon, our only request is that in NO way do you bring any of the California political ideals with you. It's bad enough that our governor is being poisoned with those things.

So you're the one who got the one that works!

California has the gun laws of a third world country, wait a minute, they are a third world country. At least that's what I tell my wife when she wants to go down there for a vacation. One of the places we like to visit is coastal redwoods North of Crescent City or along the Klamath River where the residents of the area have signs posted "State of Jefferson". I'd love to be part of that, Northern California and Southern Oregon as a new state with the freedom ideals of Idaho, Wyoming and Montana. Wishful thinking but boy would that be great, a state that actually followed the Constitution. The magazine capacity law in California really sucks so CA357 is somewhat limited to what he can get, here in Oregon they don't care, thankfully. Too bad CA357 can't just move and then get something without all the hassle.

Viking, we're planning to move to the Grants Pass area. We're just not sure when. Every time I set a deadline, we exceed it. However, I truly believe we'll be out of here within a year. Just one financial situation to wrap up and we can vamoose.

Yeah mine works great but it seems like everyone else has nothing good to say about the Millennium Pro so there's got to be truck loads of bad ones out there. I know the earlier Gen I Pros and plain Millennium's got beat to death in no time. Mine is a Gen II and you don't hear so much bad about them. Don't know much about the Gen IIIs but I like the Gen II sights better.

The deed is done! I went ahead and got the Sig P226 9mm. The one I bought shows holster wear, but looks to be in great shape. The barrel is excellent, the action is good and the rails are perfect.

Now I just have to wait ten stinking days before I can pick it up.
