A masterpiece? No. But certainly one of the absolute best values in the pistol market. Hard to go wrong at the price these can be found at. Same goes for the SW Sigmas.

Ruger uses investment cast steel for the slide. SO? Glock fanboys are convinced they have the "best" pistol ever invented. In my experience, the Rugers are more accurate than the typical Glock. I'm a S&W guy, but would have no reservations about the Rugers. They just don't happen to be my favorites.

I have the p95 and it shoots great tell your friend he won't be sorry if he get's the Ruger .

My Wife has Ruger P345, was mine until she decided how much she liked it, it is a very nice pistol and have never had one issue with it.
