A Jennings is the Yugo of the gun world. So it's kind of like saying cars suck because you drove a Yugo.

You just need to go shoot some quality guns.

Tell your cousin to get rid of the Jennings and carry a rock for self defense...it will be more accurate and reliable, plus he won't risk blowing his fingers off.

Not advisable...But this looks potentially promising, and profitable.....

2 very nice, reliable and functional .22lr pistols were already previously pictured in posts above. Very good first shooting/training pistols.

My own .22 handgun is a Smith & Wesson 17 revolver. They are very nice, will eat any .22 ammo you put into them, but a little pricey. If you want a good .22 for a lower price, I'd check out the Ruger Mk 2 or 3, or the Browning Buckmark which have already been mentioned.

The GSG 1911 .22 is also one that has piqued my interest, but I'm not in the market for a new .22 right now.

i can highly recomend the bersa thunder 22. the controls are identical to the thunder 380s and most larger sized DA/SA firearms.

my next recomend would be the ruger mk2 or mk3 but they are a little ammo sensitive and the controls dont really relate to full size or even small size guns.
