Default Handgun questions CAI canik tp9 and sd9ve

I was looking at these 2 guns and I want to save up for either(Give my dad the money, then he adds it to the collection) The cai in my opinion is pretty good looking and has good magazine capacity can anyone tell me if they are reliable? I was also looking at the sd9ve, I shot an sd40 and I liked it alot but I would rather have something in 9mm. What do you guys have to say about these guns and which one would you get? Would it be better to save up for a glock 21 or 19?

What if something broke on the CAI?

Are there aftermarket accessories (holsters, mags, etc...) available for the CAI?

CAI is Century Arms International. They are the importer. Guns are made in Turkey by Canik. Decent reviews, snappy recoil- and as said- where do you get parts?

Good call on the parts. So the sd9ve would be a better choice?

Save for the Glock. You can find used ones for 450 or so all day long.

It goes for about $350, commonly; for $50 more I got a lightly used CZ-75b (admittedly in their odd duotone with black slide and satin nickel frame). I would cruise some pawn shops and see what else you can see for $400ish. Maybe a Ruger p95 would do the job for a similar price? http://www.budsgunshop.com/catalog/product_info.php/cPath/21_49_75/products_id/18164 $375+shipping

Put http://www.e-sarcoinc.com/pistols-2.aspx in your favorites, check it often. Great deals on handguns.

Damn! That website has some inexpensive guns! Not sure on the quality though. My dad has been looking for an inexpensive 1911 type gun in 9mm and I saw this http://www.e-sarcoinc.com/starmodelbsecondmodelgoodtoverygoodcondition.aspx
Is this worth buying?

Wasn't that one of the pistols in Pulp Fiction?
