I would like a 20% lighter spring, and or to mod the hammer about 3/16 lower on a Sig 239. Is this possible through Sig, or a standard gunsmith? The hammer may have to be sort of a reverse J, so that it maintains enough metal to strike the pin. I can mod this up in plastic as a demo, but will the weight reduction affect firing pin?
