Default H&K USP Tactical

I'm looking at one of these so in the future I can put a silencer on it. My question is, I'm left handed and the safety is made for a right handed person, is there a kit to make the safety ambidextrous?

IIRC, any smith can do it with the existing parts.

Why not?

It's never about need... If someone enjoys these types of products and is willing to pay for them, why should it be an issue? That's like saying why do we need an AK-47 or HK Mk23?

You can go to www.midwayusa.com and order the factory H&K ambi safety for about $65 if I remember the price right.
