Default A Grizzly day.

Purchased this gun in 1992 along with a few others. Pick-up date was April 29th. Yup the day the L.A. Riots broke out. We had heard that they (gun stores) were not going to let people take possession and were not selling ammo. We went down anyway and I guess the mood had changed and we were able to get our guns ( LAR Mark 1, Glock 17, Ruger GP100 and a Derringer) and buy ammo. LOTS OF AMMO!

Boy did we feel safer at home watching the riots head our way.

Nice, I was at the dodgers / pirates game that night. Was a little hairy getting back home to Bakersfield after the game.

I seem to remember them being quite pricy.

My wife corrected me... they were not selling ammo but were letting people pick-up their guns that day. We had already got all the ammo the day we purchased the guns.
