Default Got first handgun

Went out and bought first handgun for myself. Been shooting for 3 years or so, but all were under siblings name.

Next on list is a 9mm and a .45 acp on order.

Also since had a hard time finding a forum just for jersey folks, decided to start one up. njgunforums.com

Been a lurker here for a long time, registered a bit ago, but finally posting. =P

Congrats. Very nice S&W. I'm sure you'll love shooting it.

Welcome to the forum, and congrats on your purchase.

Nice thing about that .22 is you'll be able to shoot & shoot & shoot somemore, long after guys buying centerfire ammo have gone home. Excellent choice of first firearm.

thank you guys. Have gone through about 2k rounds with it, and it is great. Had some jams and failure to ejects/feeds, but all good now.

And you are right... because of the 22... can easily stay and shoot way past the time most others are forced to leave by their wallets supporting their first handgun... a 45acp.
