Looks like a trend here-CZ75. For that price, you get an excellent gun that is carried by police in many Eastern European countries. I also see a bunch at competitions. I say go for it. Plus, CZ is a better quality gun then the P95.

Sweet, make sure it fits his hands well. Check all of the functions and make sure he is comfortable with them.

Yeah, hes just worried it will feel different when he shoots it and he does not want to spend 375$ on a gun that uncomfortable to shoote. even though he loves 1911s

If its an all metal gun it will naturally have less recoil than a "plastic" gun. Also 9mm isn't too punishing. What is his shotting experience?

CZ 75 B is a great choice if you can find one. Mine is all steel and comes with two 16 round mags.

You also mentioned 22lr, have you considered a browning buckmark? fun gun to shoot and very accurate.

good luck

I want either less corruption or more opportunity to participate in it.

If you're looking at CZ, and you should, check out Damascus Gun Shop. Just got my RAMI shipped from them, no price gouging, and an absolute pleasure to deal with.

Don't know if anyone else said anything about these two guys but hands down my favorite two:

1) P226 Tac

2) Beretta 92
