For 350 a stoeger cougar as i previously stated would be good, or a canik 55 cz 75 variant imported by tristar would be good

My CZ75b was lightly used for $400~. I have been very happy with my little Bersa Thunder9 compact, but it was a bit more than the budget.

I say steer him towards used firearms in this price range. Maybe get him to handle a Ruger P95, not all metal-framed, but really solid and budget 9mm.

CZ 75 is under 500 in the states? If so, that is a very good handgun. I would recommend a Sig P226 if money was not an issue. Still, CZ does compete with Sig over here.

Sounds good value. A CZ 75 SPO1 will cost you £850 in the uk.

Here is a BIG AMEN to the CZ 75! Great gun! One of the underrated little gems. Solid construction and feels great in my hand!

Yep, just saw a guy in the same area as me posted an ad on armslist

Is that a good deal? my dad emailed him.
Hell spend a little more if he really likes it.

He loves ruger. He thinks the guns they make look cool. I showed him an add for a p95 for 350 and he wants to look into it(shouldnt p95's be around 300?)
I also told him to look at the sw9ve but he just hates polymer frames because of the one time he shot a glock he said they are just to light and uncomfortable. However he did love how the sr9 felt.

Kentucky gun company had CZ75B's the other day for $480ish. Nice gun for the money.
