i know the safety its the recoil that gets me with rifles even with rifles i have a flinch problem. but im working on it.

9mm isn't bad at all, pretty soon you will be up to a .45 ACP. Just always remember safety first, you will have a lot of fun !!

Dont worry. My son is 13. He used to only shoot 22s. He always said he didnt want to try any of my big bore stuff. But them my wife went to the range with us. She was shooting my pistols and he decided it was his turn. He now shoots all of my handguns except my 44 mag. Just be safe. You will be fine. Have fun.
