Hard to beat the feel of a Glock... My dad owns a Glock 19 and loves that thing. I went with a Ruger SR9c for daily carry though. Partly just because I had an urge to own a Ruger.

Rugers are made in the U.S. and use nylon instead of polymer. Glocks feel better (to me) and are easy to strip and clean. A lot of gunsmiths say the one manufacture they work on the least as far as malfunctions and defects go are Rugers. Both are great manufactures but you just have to see how they feel in your hands and even try renting and shooting both to see which you like better.
