Just recently purchased a heavier recoil spring and and stormlake barrel for my Glock 29. Took is to the range and it jammed on me on the first shot. Then started having feeding issues. Has anyone else had similiar problems?

Welcome to ftf. I'd start by trying the old spring.

Thanks! I went back to all the stock parts and had no problems. I find that the aftermarket parts were a total waste of money especially after I read about them in other forums.
The new barrel may work with the old spring and open up the option for lead rounds. Just might need a little work on the feed ramp.
I actually fired some Doubletap hardcast rounds with no problems. Just cleaned out the barrel pretty throughout after.
I wouldn't recommend using lead in the factory barrel. That's how kabooms happen.
From my understanding that only happens if there is lead built up in the barrel. I've cleaned out the barrel each time I've gone to the range. Plus I bought the lead ammo buy accident.
By the way can you recommend a good shotgun? Debating between getting a Mossberg 90a1 9 shot or a Remington 870.
I'd recommend the Mossberg 500 if you like the 870.
Any particular reason?
