Hmmm, go shooting or buy a new gun. Which do I want to do. Go shooting or buy a new gun? Decisions, decisions!

Yeah a nice 1911 can be pretty spendy. But there are a lot of choices, depends on what you want. Sometimes you can find a good used one, maybe a barebones Colt. Or the new Remington.

Oh, you said in another thread you had a Parabellum. A P08 Luger?
