Default FNP-45 Compact

A buddy just purchased an FNP-45 so i went to the FN website to check out the specs. They had a compact version but not pictured. I was wondering if FN is making the compact model or are they still working on it.

Anybody have the FNP-45 Compact or have shot one?

Those new fn's are nice, I haven't gotten a chance to shoot one yet but I know them make quality guns. It's pretty unpractical but I like the look of the fnp-45 tactical, it has a threaded barrel and holographic sight, but I believe the last one I saw was around 1000-1100 dollars, which is out of my price range for the time being. But seeing this post just reminded me of that. Good luck with the 45 compact, I'm sure it is a great gun like the rest of their lineup.

The compact isn't out yet. I have an FNP-45 Tactical FDE with a Trijicon RMR and I love it! It is an amazing gun!

I also have the tactical .45 and just so you know that 1100 dollars doesn't get you the sight...you have to buy one separately...so yeah its expensive...I got a heck of a steal on mine @ $698. That would be really good if a red dot or something came with it....

Wow you got a great deal on that. How do you like the performance with it?

It's been flawless so far...shoots really smooth. No complaints here.

It is a very soft shooting .45. Going from my 1911 to the FNP Tac is like night and day on the recoil side of things.
