Anyone know what's up with the recent price spikes on this fine weapon? Suddenly no gun shops can get it in stock, and when I looked for one at the gun show this weekend there was exactly one in the whole place, and it was a used one selling for $2000

I've heard conflicting reports about a worker strike at the FN factory in Belgium that might be at the root of this but can't confirm it anywhere. Or is it just part of the overall run on firearms due to the usual idiot libs being their usual idiot selves in downtown DC again maybe?

If'n ya think ammo for the 5.7 is expensive, look at .45ACP hollow points.
5.7, FIFTY rounds for ~$23.00
.45, TWENTY rounds for $~23.00

I have the PS90 carbine and my son has the 5.7 pistol. We both love them. and yes, we do reload!

I've never had any problem at all finding ammo.

The price is high, but OTOH, it's an FN. So it's well worth the price.

I generally pay $23-$25 per box of 50.

That's less than premium .357, .40 or .45.

And I understand their patent has run out and Federal will be making it, so prices shouldn't increase, and may even decrease when the panic is over.
