I believe the rebate expired on April 30, otherwise I would have likely gone with that just based on price alone.
Update:
It is good until October. Might be a dealbreaker here. I like the way the sigma felt, and now with$50 off, puts it barely over $300.

also, found a Stoeger Cougar finally, but for $450.00..little hight, but damn it's a perty gun.

Have any Cabela's around you? Just be aware there prices are higher, they have the all silver version (which you will want) but you do get to fondle one to your hearts content. Good hunting!

Has the Beretta PX4 rotating barrel that cuts down on recoil. A bit smaller than the ruger and Smith.
I have the Stoeger 8040F .40S&W, it's very accurate for out of the box probably due to the rotary lock up barrel. Recoil is straight back with very little barrel rise which makes it great for right on follow up shots. I use it for ccw because of it's size and that any bullet weight or ammo brand is fired without a hiccup. The Cougar is very much worth looking at, great quality for a decent price.

I am going to look at the Stoeger tonight. After I check it out I will likely be making my decision. So I will keep you updated.

Thanks again for everything everyone.

I have a P95....

It initially had a problem with extracting and ejecting the spent brass.
I sent it back to Ruger and they fixed the problem (it did take them 6 weeks).
It now shoots 100% reliable, but it's not the most accurate of guns.
I'm more accurate with my Glock and XD.
And like others have already said, it is a bit bulky.

I don't have any experience with the Sigma, the Cougar, the Ruger SR9, or the Taurus, but if you can afford it the Springfield Armory XD is very nice.

Good luck and safe shooting.

I did it. I went to Gnder Mountain and looked at all of the guns side by side and I went with the Cougar.
I felt Awesome in my hand, and looks incredible. The guy behind the counter said they have never had any returns on the gun (as opposed to the Sigma who he has had the most complaints about of any other hand gun)
So yeah.
I get to pick it up tomorrow, and I will post pics and a review after I shoot it!

Thanks everyone!

So yeah.

Haters only hate what they can not handle, it takes a Man to shoot a Sigma.
