So Glock isn't as tough as i thought.. however, thank you for the information. And btw; I didn't mean I wanted to buy a Desert eagle, it was just sarcasm bacause the deagle is expensive

I don't have the P99 and S&W yet, but this month I and my friend are going to the shooting range, and shoot with some weapons of the club. I don't no which handgun we're going to shoot with, but I'm going to choose some nice ones. Maybe even a rifle, I'd always wanted to shoot an Ak-47. However, it will be a nice day. Maybe it's nice if I would tell about my experience that day?

Get her dirty, then clean her so she starts to respect you. When her trust is complete, she will serve you well for a lifetime!

OP-From the not-quite-fully-brainwashed-by-the-1911 camp:

I am a fairly recent convert to the 1911 platform and I will offer that although all the adoration displayed above (I can almost hear Air Supply "I'm all out of Love" when cane starts talking Colt...) is justifiable (shoot one- you'll see. I wish I'd found the joy of a well tuned 1911 years and many hundreds of dollars ago) There is nothing wrong with an XD, or a Sig or a...

There are many fine firearms out there for the first time gun buyer. I'd shoot as many as you can and figure out what feels most like an extension of your arm. Seriously, something that fits you so well that you feel like you don't ever want to let go of it. Buy that and shoot the **** out of it until you are ready to buy something else. Definitely don't sell yourself short though. Try and shoot anything you can get your hands on.

Air Supply????

I suppose I do deserve that but hey, I even included some tupperware for the boy to try-out! Air Supply, some slack would be nice!

You've been off grid for a while, what's up bro?

RL see that M1911A1? Well it shot the owner of that P08.

If the role was reversed, I wouldn't be here!

LOL.

...it was the first mushy love song that popped into my head. I should be flogged for even having that in my memory bank somewhere.

As the construction market continues (you are in FL- I know I don't have to tell you) to slide into the abyss, I have had to make some drastic changes in the company to ensure I am still here when this all blows over- one of which includes having a hammer in my hand again, instead of a mouse and a telephone for a while...

Those five handguns seems really nice.. I will try them for sure. Especially the Sig and Colt.. both are beautiful. I hope they shoot as nice as they look like!

I hope we can shoot soms rifles too, maybe an M14?
