The only. 45 I own is a Colt 1911 Series 70 MkIV. No need for another. Goes bang every time, impacts right where I point it. There are several fine choices on the list, but I'm staying "old school."

I would say the Sig 220. I have never shot the combat version, but I have put countless rounds down range with out any hiccup what so ever in the "normal". I have never had a problem at all, even if i miss cleaning it and take it back out.
I have to agree, my P220 is a fun and extremely accurate weapon.
