It's already been said, but no sense polishing a feed ramp on a gun if there are no feed issues. If you like shiny, an old tshirt with some Flitz polish using your finger will give your ramp a nice shine.
Also, polishing carbon steel is not typically a good idea. You are exposing bare carbon steel to the elements. Bare carbon steel RUSTS without any kind of protective coating. Your Glock has a CARBON STEEL slide. Unless you're going to apply another kind of finish on the slide after you polish off the factory finish, I would HIGHLY discourage this. Stainless steel, aluminum, gold, silver, platinum are all great to polish on. Carbon steel....not so much. But it's your gun, do what you want with it.
