Default Finally got a 1911!!!!!
I went and bought a RIA 1911 GI today, been wanting a 1911 and what I have seen and read about the RIA it seemed like a solid buy. For $400 I had to go ahead and get it. A friend has one that has been a solid shooter. Plus while I was there I picked up a S&W Sigma 9mm for the wife she really liked the way it handled, so it is hers. Ready to go to the range now!

I will join in the congrats. There is nothing like a 1911, and the folks I know that have Rock Islands, love them.
