I had a PA63. It was a decent gun. The FEG HP clones were also pretty decent.

The pistols are usually aluminum framed and have a larger palm swell than a Walther. I have PP size and PPK sized pistols that exhibit excellent fit and finish, both are good concealed carry pistols.
Oops forgot, mine are 9mm Mak (PP) and .380 (PPK).

I have 7 of the FEG pistols, from the 32ACP AP to a pair of smc-22's . They're all well made, and share many parts. My summer carry pistol is a PA-63, 9x18 Mak, with a SMC-380 as a backup. In winter I carry a CZ-82 with a FEG smc-380 backup. When I shoot my .32 ACP FEG, I put in some excellent Fiocchi APHP ammo ( 166 ft-lbs muzzle energy) . The pistol handles it well , and shoots great. My avatar shows 6 of the pistols. Only one missing is the 2d SMC-22 .

The pistol is probably a decent shooter. The caliber is what I question. A 22 wmr loaded with hornady pistol ammo would likely have more energy and penetration. Not to mention it's hard to find anything but FMJ ammo for the 32. That 166 ft lb of energy is from a 24" test barrel.

Last year I had some Gold Dots in 32ACP, but haven't seen them around lately. The Walther PP barrel length makes for a very accurate shooter. My 4" barrelled FEG pistols are all sweet to shoot.
