Dog attack
A while ago I posted about dog attacks. I finally got an industrial pepper spray that shoots out 30 feet which makes me feel better and safer than one of those pepper spays as big as your thumb. Anyway I'm going to get a place to live that might be a little away from people so it might be smart for me to get a hand auto which isn't a bad idea if I take my dog for a walk in the boondocks because I have seen packs of dogs and I wouldn't trust pepper spray in that situation. But for home protection and something I could carry if need be isn't going to be a 380 or 45 but maybe something in-between. Any ideas?

Home protection? Get yourself a 45 handgun if you can't get
a Mossberg 590A1. As for a .380 they're wonderful for backups,
or pocket carry. I got both.

i wouldnt use a 380 on a dog. they are a lot more difficult to stop than people are.
if you cant handle a 45 then 9mm.

Didn't TX Gov Perry kill a coyote with his 380 with no problem? Yes he did. A one shot kill in fact. Don't think a dog would be any harder to kill than a coyote.

I'd rather my own son see me die on my feet as a free man, than watch him go, broken, into slavery.
