Does anyone have experience with the Sig P220 Platinum Elite?
I just ordered a P220 Platinum Elite. Can anybody tell me how long Sig takes to fill an order and has anybody shot one or have knowledge outside Sig's web site.

Haven't shot a platinum elite, but I have shot a P226 equinox from their custom shop and it's lovely.
Don't listen to me, though, I'm a bit of a Sig fanboy.

Don't know if the platinum elite is that different from my elite dark. But I love my sig 220. By far worth the money. It has a great grip, comfortable and easy to handle. It matches my natural point of aim perfectly and the recoil is very easy to control. I have a 1911 and I would still take my elite any day of the week. I know that may be a sin, but sig made a great gun when the produced the 220 elite series. Don't hesitate on these guns, just get one.
Ive got a older p220 with roll pinned in firing block. I love it cant see how a more up to date version would suck.
Im thinking about getting that srt trigger and a threaded barrel for mine.

I'm thinking about doing the same to my p220 carry. It's a great shooter, even like they say out of the box. I'm not so keen on the p229 40, it needs breaking in still.
I'm still waiting for my p220 platinum elite, I emailed sig and they said I should get it this fall.
