Just because your posts made me laugh, I don't know much about them, but sounds good to me. Do you like it? Then who cares. It is worth whatever you are willing to pay.
You may have in a round about way already asked this question.

shihan i like it. but it's gonna be my wife's carry gun and I havn't given her the choice to not like it...j/k. She keeps going back and forth between what gun she wants so I told her I was just going to pick it out. And if she doesn't like it I'll probably just keep it for my stash or sell it because from what I've seen these are pretty hard to come by. I pretty much have my mind made up on getting it, guess I'm just posting to see if anyone can talk me out of it!

Go for it. She doesn't like the Ruger LCP? Now that is a very nice little pistol.
I am sure your wife , will enjoy the Colt.

I love Mustangs, they are the best looking .380s ever made (in my opinion, of course).
If it's really in great condition, $550.- seems like a decent price. Take a quick look at gunbroker.com and you'll see the going price is between $700 (for a NIB one) and $430 (for one in less than ideal condition).
Once you get it, you might want to replace the plastic guide rod with a metal one and the factory double recoil spring with a Wolf spring.

Get it, if your wife doesn't like it you win by default.
If you don't like it give it to me!

mustang 380 not one of the more pleasent 380's to shoot if you got medium to large hands. buddy of mine has one and its constantly biting him and me. bites his wife too and she has small hands.
that one looks a bit worn in the tooth from the pic.
just my opinon.
