Default DA/SA, SA or DAO?

I have to admit to being a fence-sitter on this one,

I've got a 1911A1 and a DE44 on the one hand, a couple 92s and

a S&W 645 on the other, and I like them all.

I would have to go with SA, my favorite handguns are the 1911A1 and the Colt SAA

I have a DAO (striker fired), 2 DA/SA's and a SA...I don't have a preference as I'm not a LEO or Competition Shooter...I'm a Firearms Enthusiast...altho' for carry it would be the DAO...since I'm not as practiced as I should be.

I like them all but SA is all you need. All of them have their uses and are on fine handguns.

Although I shoot all, I prefer the SA

I don't have much experience with all these but I do know my SA P238 shoots like a dream. It is a SAO.

Ha-ha, yeah, that.

I personally prefer the safety paradigm of

the DA/SA de-cocker, given a choice.

I like SA and DAO, don't like SA/DA. Personally, I just don't like two trigger pulls on one gun. Nothing wrong with the guns themselves, it's just me.
