Default Cz83 .380

Look what arrived today:

Just finished cleaning her up. Like my CZ75, this .380 feels oh so comfortable in my hand. Weight and balance are exceptional. She's built with some tight tolerances to the point that it took a few repeated cyclings of the action before I could easily release with the slide release lever.

I'm taking her on a date to the range tomorrow and see how she handles

Brought her to the range today... Put the target at 7 yds initially and she did awesomely from the first shot. Not a single misfire or feed problem using WWB .380. She shoots extremely well with minimal recoil and easy sights.

Only complaints were that the magazines were really ornery at first. I could barely squeeze the first rounds in. It got a bit better as the day wore on, but my thumb is actually sore from feeding them.

Also, I'm hoping the DA pull gets a bit smoother. It felt a little gritty. Hopefully cleaning and usage will clear that up.

Not a decock.. just the opposite in fact The safety can only engage if the hammer is cocked.

Yes, I'm really starting to like the CZs. Planning to add a couple more to the CZ75 and CZ83 I have currently. I'll have a greater variety of ammo in the next few days so I'm eager to see how this sweet little .380 does with other loads.
