To late but will post an idea any how. A slight change to a dillion cartidge. Not the 9mm dillion but a true .357 calliber dillion in a glock style pistol in full production but with out glocks shortcomeing in design. Give it a fully supported chamber . This small charge in caliber would not be limited to 9mm bullet design.

5.7x28 in a Kahr CW9 frame, single stack but should still hold 10-11 rnds. That would be the perfect ccw imho. Light, simple, accurate, easy follow up shots, great penatration and high velocity. What's not to like?

First of all good luck on your training, most importantly stay safe and thank you for YOUR service to protect the greatest country in the world.

Now to the question, not sure about the caliber but I love the 1911 style guns, possibly with a laser guided projectile, some where around a .327 mag. or .357 sig., big holes 100% on target every time. Bad guys beware.

William, this is a great idea! It's also such a flat shooting round that it would team well with a laser. Recoil would be manageable and the extra rounds would be welcome compared to 9mm and .380. Now if more people would just believe 5.7X28 is a viable defense round. This could be a wonderful deep concealment option.

Those psychos over at Dillon probably have made something close.

If were talking about crazy dream guns, I want a over and under 8 inch S&W revolver that fires .50 Armor piercing Beowulf rounds. Nothing would survive. Even the shooter.
