DefaultCreate Your Own Semi-Auto Round

So I'm headed back to Hawaii and I just found out that I have a little bit more training to do. But the good kind!

Once I get back to base I have to go to school again for SLAMC conducted by Pu'uloa Marksmanship Training Unit at Kaneohe Bay Range Training Facility. I am so excited I can't even begin to explain to you guys. If I qualify, I can carry the MK 12 or M27 IAR on my next deployment. So I'm going to be gone for a few weeks after Friday for this class because it starts Monday, so I wanted to leave you guys with a question for debate while I'm gone.

If you could create a round for a semi-automatic handgun, with any characteristics such as caliber, penetration, size, weight, anything; what would you create? Something in between a .380 and 9mm? Heavier than a 338 lapua?

You tell me? I'll check back till Friday at 0900 but then I gotta catch a flight.

Anyone gunna miss me?

I don't know much about calibers, penetration, size, weight, etc. I am pretty new to firearms and I'm here to learn.

But, yeah, I'm gunna miss you. You are a MARINE. What more could one ask for?

1. A hi cap polymer with rail and changable grip lengths.
2. 1911 style.
