As a proud xd owner I can't wait to see the xds. I live in Illinois and we still do not have concealed carry of any kind but when we do my xdm 40 compact will be my carry choice

I live in Florida, they're pretty good about everything. No vehicle inspections, concealed carry. I read horror stories about California and some others.

How do you pull off concealing that?

If you want a 1911, I think a commander length bobtail is a great all around carry 1911. I just got my Dan Wesson and now have a few months wait for my exotic holster to be made.

That is a gorgeous gun! I'm quickly falling for the 1911, I used to think they were just sort of a style thing, but I shoot so much better with one. I'll still carry my glock. I'm confident that I could put rounds on target with it in an emergency. Maybe I could justify a 1911 as a range/nightstand/car gun....
