they are made by Armscor, the same people who make RIA. I have no experience with a Citadel, but I think they would rate right up there with the RIA's, just a bit more option loaded and a little more expensive. Someone here may have one and give you a better answer toward their performance and reliability.

I had the officer model and I was unhappy with the quality of the finish, the front sight would come loose every mag and the gun wouldn't find any kind of JHP ammo that I tried.

i had one that was nice, but the forward serrations got on my last nerve in a hurry. if you can handle that, (and i strongly suggest you do something with the sights) mine was reliable as could be. price was pretty good, finsh was "ok" (nothing to write home about)
