Cheapest good 9mm round
I was wondering if anyone knew a good but cheap round for a 9mm. I am just looking for cheap stuff to shoot at the range. I'll definitely keep better ammo in my gun when it's on the nightstand or concealed.

aka, WPA brand, can often be found for under $10 for 50 rounds.
Blazer is another great choice at a reasonable cost, aluminum or brass.

I placed a few orders for Blazer Brass 115 gr. from Palmetto State Armory @ $10.49/box. They have free shipping right now. My other cheap source is Freedom Munitions, usually $9.95/box plus shipping, but keep an eye out for deals.

The Federal Champion at wally world is pretty cheap, just under $20 for 100 rounds. On-line is good if you look for sales with 'no freight' promotions & it's out of state so you don't pay sales tax, but that generally means buying 500+ rounds. The main complaint I have with Walmart is the ones here don't carry a large stock & when they are out of stock, may be a while before they get more in.

the cheapest good ammo is the cheapest ammo that will be reliable in your handgun. That answer can differ from gun to gun. I would say you want to buy small quantities of anything your interested in and see how it works in your handgun.
Once you figure out what it is, go here.

If you buy ammo in bulk this site will help tons.

I've shot 1000s of Federal Champions with different guns and they have been consistent all the way.

Federal is a tad cheaper at wallyworld, when they have it, that is.
I haven't found anything my 9mm wont shoot yet, still don't like the idea of steel. YMMV
