A cheap handgun

Hey! Haven't posted in awhile, but I finally have something to ask. I was wondering if anyone here knew of a handgun on the cheaper side (less than 600$ preferably). I just want a gun that I can take to the range and shoot some targets with, I was thinking probably a .45 or a 9mm, maybe .22 .

EAA Witness P Carry. Great reliable gun that can be had for about $329

Or the CZ P07 for $439

This is the GSG .22LR 1911 frame. You can buy if for around $325. Great gun, shoots accurate, and cheap ammo to shoot. Shoots .22 long rifle ammo. Plus, It will be great training in case one day you want to step up to a .45 1911. I have had one for about a year and it is fun to shoot.

There's a lot of good 22 pistols in the neighborhood of 350$.

If you want to scope it, get either a Ruger 22/45, or MKIII,

depending on your preference of grip angle.

If strictly range/target shooting I'd say any of the popular .22's. Do some research on those, there's plenty. If you wanna make it range/target and a little home defense I'd say the cz p09. Should be close in price to the p07 ($440) and has a standard 20 round capacity in 9mm. I made my mind up and this is my next purchase so I might be a little bias.

If you are looking for just a target/plinking gun, absolutely get a 22. And there are plenty available under $600. Better yet, some of the best 22's out there are under $600. Here would be a list I would check out:
Ruger MK series
Ruger SR22
Browning Buckmark
Smith & Wesson M&P 22

I'm digging my Mark III 22/45 Target. 5.5" bull barrel, drilled and tapped for an optic and comes with the rail, 2 mags and iQuite accurate and thus far it shoots whatever I feed it. And it was $330 delivered.

For just punching paper and keeping gun/ammo cost way down you can't beat a .22lr. And for the best .22lr pistol you've got to look at the Ruger Mark III. A used Mark II is even better.

45 9 or 22 ? That is a big spread. Go to a range and rent all three.
