Buying a new. 45

Im very partial to the .45 and im looking for a new edition to the family. I've looked at springfield, sig, glock, s&w, and cz but I don't know much about them personally. I don't like glock, just not comfortable in my hand. I have big hands so the sub compact is out. I want a gun that I can carry as well as shoot every day so reliability is a must. Any suggestions from experience?

1) 1911
2) Sig P220
3) Polymer (XD, Glock, HK, FN, S&W)
4) On the cheap, check out Ruger and Bersa

-the end-

I don't know anything about bersa. Are they any good?

I own a 1911. I was looking at the sig 220. Is it worth the price tag?

Bersa makes some really solid little guns, and it might suit what you're after. Check out Bersas on Bud's. Dollar for dollar, they're probably one of the better values out there.

A Sig P220 is an outstanding gun. They are expensive, but there are some pretty decent deals to be had on the used market.

I think you would enjoy the M&P45. Just from my experience.

I know I like mine.:D

What do you like about the m&p. 45? It looks like a comfortable fitting gun but never held one.

I find that my STI's Ranger 11 & Range Master feel better in my hand than either of my Colts series 70 govt & series 80 GCNM.
Possibly due to the undercut trigger guard on the STI's
TGR

See if you can find an Ed Brown Kobra Carry.
