Make sure to bring many different types/brands of rounds so if you have any problems you can make sure it is not the gun.

My kid shoots remington thunderbolts and cci, they both work great!

Shot this weekend and had zero problems with Mini Mags, stingers and thunderbolts. Got through one magazine of federal bulk, before it rejected them...

Also if you only plan on using the weapon for home defense and won't be carrying it a mossberg 500 persuader 12ga is always an option too. Nothing will put the bad guy out of commission like 12ga buckshot.

First decide how much you want to spend. Sig has some nice 9s, the P226 is great and they have a Navy Seal version for around $850. You can get a Taurus 1911 .45 acp for around $650. S&W M&P are good as well and more around $550. I would not get a .380 personally. Small caliber and ammo is not cheap. I did hours upon hours of research and youtube videos. Check out Hickok45, Humans4targets, Sootch00. Very good gun reviews, hope this helps

Holy shight,, I've seen it all someone wirh glock actually in their avatar name not pushing a glock, don't let anyone call you a fan boy, good recommendations bit even I would have suggested a glock, their like sigs and HK'S little reliable brother, ,, ha.
