What is the largest amount of ammunition that can be held in a semi-automatic handgun (without reloading)?

It depends on the gun. I have an STI 2011 that holds 20 rounds in each of its .40 caliber magazines. I know some open class shooters that have 30+ rd .38 super magazines.

Check out the last mag this guy feeds into the Glock in this video. That's the biggest mag I've seen. Don't know where you'd get it though.
