This is fairly old pistol and it sounds like you are somewhat new to firearms. Best advice is to have the pistol checked by a gunsmith. The movement sounds normal but considering it is a 50 year old pistil I would have it checked out by a gunsmith before you purchase as there may be other wear issues that you are unable to see with limited expereince.
