I had a new Browning HI-Power in 9mm years ago. They are a fine and beautiful pistol no doubt! And I have seen some great pics here of those who have one. Thanks for the pics! I always enjoy them. But I never got attached to mine. I think the main reason was the feel and me being accustomed to the 1911 pistol. And certainly the 45 ACP. I honestly must admit, I have never really have been a 9mm fan. With all the great ammunition available today it is only a personal preference at this point and good for smaller CCWs. In the past with the older ammunition it was a result of performance issues I was have been aware of. Carried a 9mm on the street for years but still not impressed. As far as the Browning High it was just never my preference although, I respect and admire a high quality firearm which no doubt it is! Wish they could have made it in 40 or 45 later.
They did. Here is my Belgian Hi Power Practical in .40 S&W. I love the gun but have to admit that I HATE the grips. I need to find a replacement but haven't gotten around to it yet...
