Bought my 1st gun

Sooooo excited!!!!!

After renting a bunch of different guns finally settled on the S&W M&P 9mm compact. Felt good in my hand and shot well with the rental, also felt the size was a good middle ground between something I could carry and was still fun to shoot.

Only gun that I shot that I liked better was the S&W 1911, but it was out of my price range (wanted to stay in the $500 range), but am planning on saving for that to be my next purchase.

AWESOME!!! That's a fine weapon you have there my friend. Take care of it and it will take care of you. I bought a Kimber 1911 a few months ago and I'm warming up to it, they have that effect.

That's a good looking pistol.

I know, you're waiting for the punchline.

Really, that's a good looking pistol!

Great looking pistol. Can't wait for the range report. We are getting a range report aren't we? :D

Going on Friday to the range......that feels like an eternity from now :p

Any suggestions on holsters?

What type of carry?

For IWB, check out crossbreed holsters.

M&P's are great pistols, reliable, accurate, easy maintenance.
I know first hand, I own a M&P .40c and carry it daily.
Your 9c has a thumb safety, I beginning to see that more on the M&P's.
Mine is an older model; no safety at all.
