Hell Chary, once when I went out with mine on (kilt that is) I always had someone asking me about it. Every one would ask if I had my BVD's on and one lady wanted to see for herself.
On the other hand I did not know that nc had oc.

Im usually oc. Mainly bc thats what im used to and also bc ya i have my ccp but im also one of the types that i normally have on a jacket. Plus dual shoulder holsters are kinda hard to conceal. Plus livin in podunk sw MO where all the local cops no me helps alot. Another big plus comes from having alot of people around here who open carry. I also like the fact that if its in the open then cops only ask for my age and ID to verify it. If im not dual carring i carry behind my right hip in an iwb set at 3:30

God didnt make all men equal colonel Sam Colt did

Sometimes one must just see some things for ones self.

Like if you had undies on or not.

In MI, we can conceal carry with permit, we can open carry with or without conceal permit, but OC with conceal permit eliminates almost all of the PFZ restrictions. Unfortunately, the LEO community is very poorly trained. A couple of organizations are trying to bring them up to speed. One LEO in the MI forum said he would arrest anybody that printed while carrying concealed. He was quickly reminded of the laws. Another stated that we are required to turn over our ID's if stopped on the street, he was sent off to learn about Terry Stop. I had a neighbor that was a Sgt, and he believed that no "ordinary citizen" should be allowed to have any firearm. This was the same Sgt that also encouraged illegal targeted enforcement of the looking drinking establishments, and shut most of them down. Funny unintended consequence, the state shares with local communities a portion of the locally collected sales taxes... City took a huge hit in loss of shared revenue, DOH!

I still am a bit uncomfortable with OC, but it's a lot easier in the winter to loosely conceal carry Observant people will notice the huge printing, but most will not.

Jordon89 yes. A Wyoming resident[6 months in state with ID] may carry open or concealed without a CCW. If you travel outside the state you can get a Wyoming CCW thru the mail. The Wyoming issued state CCW is not needed in state. No LEO is allowed to ask if you are armed during a traffic stop etc. You need your Hunter Saftey card or Discharge or NRA class card to order a CCW thru the mail.
